Well, depends what you mean to Black Legend. I'd be very thankful for any of your insights and experiences! Which is why I'd love to be a little more informed by and about the people who are more directly involved with any lingering influences of the Black Legend in modern society.

I'm hoping to make it a little more thorough and professional this time though, in line with some of my more recent works. If you want to see some of my work before you choose to reply, you can find my previous video on the Black Legend here. How alive do you believe the Black Legend still is to this very day, be it visibly or hidden underneath the surface? For example, if you're from Spain, do you believe certain countries look unfavourably upon your country or its history, perhaps even just in passing remarks? If you're from Latin America, have you come into contact with people who have knowingly or unknowingly supported the theory behind the Black Legend? Any personal experiences are very welcome! What are your thoughts on the Black Legend? Do you believe there is a semblance of truth to it? Do you have any particular thoughts on its discourse and how other people have engaged with it?Ģ. I hope to try and incorporate some of the answers into my video. In order to be more informed about it - and to inform my viewers more about it in the process - I was hoping to get insights from both sides of the fence (or perhaps there doesn't turn out to be a fence at all) and ask both r/asklatinamerica as well as r/askspain about their thoughts and most importantly personal experiences on this so-called legend ( you can find the thread from asklatinamerica here, in case you're curious about their answers). Hence I would like to make a more thorough, more serious video about it to help correct any mistakes I've made in my previous video as well. I've previously made a quick video about it quite some time ago and found out ever since that it's a subject that goes quite a bit deeper and is quite a bit more of a modern issue (according to some) than I first thought. I'm in the process of making a YouTube video about the Spanish Black Legend ( la leyenda negra, see the Wikipedia page here for a quick explanation if you're not aware of it).
